Published French poetry from 2005

on page 20

Le monde s’ouvre d’un demi tour
Une corvée pour certains
Pour d’autres un amour.
Serre dans la main
Qui touche à l’infini
La liberté sur un chariot qui prend vol
Telle un combattant sans répit
Qui se bat pour la justice

Goodbye, pen

Goodbye, dearest pen.
Today was the day my diary pen ran out of ink. I've had this pen since the summer of 2010. It was a present from Yoel.
I will throw it away later today.

nov. 6th walk.

today the metro was so packed that i decided to get out at m. naguib and walk to mounira. very pleasant.
Cool culture/activity center in Saida Zeinab. restored palace.

Notice the "IF" on the emblem in the center of the facade? I'm guessing this building once belonged to the "Institut Francais". Located on the street between saida zeinab and the CFCC on Mohamed Ezz al Arb Street.

portuguese: a thought

Portuguese from Portugal sometimes reminds me of Arabic. Sometimes it reminds me of Russian, or other times Polish. Most of the time though (or sometimes, too) it reminds me of what it is. ;-)
